Funding

Each approved project may receive up to HK$5 million or 90% of the approved cost, whichever is lower. The funded organisation must bear 10% of the cost, in cash, in kind or as sponsorship.

Eligibility

Any non-profit-distributing organisation may apply to the fund
A non-profit-distributing organisation does not pay dividends to its directors, shareholders, employees or anyone else. Examples include trade bodies, professional bodies and research institutes.
The applicant must be a statutory body, or a body registered under Hong Kong SAR law
The applicant may appoint an implementing body to help run the project, and must show on the form, for example with CVs of key team members, that the body can carry it out.
The applicant may also seek support from a relevant organisation, other than a profit-making commercial group or a body with a political background, as a project partner.
